I think it would be cool for the NYMM Series to sponsor say a $1000 to win indoor race during the winter. It would give people a chance to satisfy the racing itch during the long winter, and I think it could draw a pretty good car count. If you had it at a centrally located facility, advertised properly, and paid a good purse, it could be a big hit, something like a Chili Bowl of the Northeast.

This has been a topic of intrest since the NYMM Series has started. Its possible you may see a race at the NYS Fairground and/or in Rochester NY.

AHR OR NYMM would love to have an indoor race here in NY. If anyone has ideas of where let us know.

At Monroe County Fairgrounds, they have the giant dome in which a race could be held and there is also the Verizon center at the NYS Fairgrounds. This I think is where the indoor kart races are held and something could be done there.

Right now the only indoor race event in the Northeast is at Atlantic City, NJ, sponsored by Auto Area Racing News Len Sammons scheduled for January 12th and 13th where 600 battle with the TQs.

I thought that I read somewhere that they where not going to allow the 600's at AC this year. Just the TQ's are racing. I could be wrong.
